Seychelles: fishing at Cosmoledo Atoll

COSMOLEDO ATOLL

Cosmoledo has long held the title as being the place to go for GTs. It would be fair to say that it was the location that put the Giant Trevally very firmly at the front of every saltwater anglers bucket list of species. Uninhabitable, Cosmoledo atoll is fished by no more than 8 anglers who stay on the Luxurious 85ft catamaran, the Lone Star. Alongside GTs there are all the other key species of fish that you would expect to find in the Indian Ocean including Bonefish, Permit, Triggerfish and Milkfish. It is undisputedly one of the most exciting saltwater fly fishing destinations you can visit.
